CO2 EMISSIONS AT A GLANCE

Offset the CO2 emissions of your purchases by supporting selected climate protection projects of our partner South Pole with every payment.

The amount of the CO2 compensation has been calculated by South Pole based on a detailed analysis of various shopping baskets and corresponds to 0.75% or 0.95% (depending on the selected product) of your monthly card expenditure.

You will receive a certificate once a year for the compensations you have made as an overview.

CO2 CLIMATE COMPENSATION – HOW IT WORKS

The compensation is equal to 0.75% or 0.95% (depending on the selected product) of your monthly card expenditure. The corresponding amount will automatically be debited from your monthly statement.

The basis of the compensation calculation is all the transactions you make as of the service activation. Cash withdrawals, fees including the annual fee, interest payments, games of chance, the use of gambling machines, and the services offered with the card are not included.

Buy your next plane ticket or new pair of jeans and help the climate in the process. If you pay with the Cornèrcard, your purchases will be offset against CO2 emissions as long as climate compensation is activated. The compensation benefits selected climate protection projects by our partner South Pole.

Climate compensation is calculated based on your monthly card expenditure and charged monthly. Once a year, you will receive a certificate for your contribution to climate protection.

In addition, credit card compensation allows you to keep track of the CO2 emissions of your purchases and therefore make your next purchase decision even more consciously.
