INSURANCE COVERAGE:

The insurance applies if a newly purchased electrical or electronic device is found to have a manufacturing defect. This can be up to two years after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. Have the device repaired or buy a new one – the costs incurred will be reimbursed by the insurer.

For electrical household, entertainment and communication devices
Case of claim or damage: warranty damage of a newly purchased device up to two years after expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty

Up to CHF 3,000 for Cornèrcard Lady
Up to CHF 6,000 for Cornèrcard Platinum

TWO-YEAR LONGER WARRANTY WITH YOUR CORNÈRCARD

Warranty extension insurance includes:
newly purchased electrical and electronic equipment paid for with your Cornèrcard after expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty. These include domestic electrical devices (e.g., washing machines, vacuum cleaners, electric toothbrushes), electronic entertainment devices (e.g., televisions, video cameras), electrical communication devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops).

Anywhere in the world
The insurance is valid worldwide.

Start and end
The extended warranty period begins when the manufacturer’s warranty expires and lasts for 24 months (2 years).
