Viewing Card Data

Your Personal Data – Accessible Anytime and Anywhere
Your username, password, and SMS Code provide you with access to an overview of your additional services and benefits and your personal data – at all times.

You can also:

    • check your card balance;
    • monitor your recent card usage (purchases and payments);
    • view your statements for the last 24 months;
    • export and print out all data (as Excel or PDF).

How Do I Benefit from Electronic Monthly Statements?
You have the option of receiving your future monthly statements from Cornèrcard only in electronic form via Onlineaccess, rather than on paper. This reduces the volume of paper in your daily post, which people often find to be a nuisance, while conserving valuable resources. It is very easy to view your statements for the last 24 months under “Monthly Statements” and to save them as PDFs on your computer, so you can keep track of your spending at all times.

How Do I Settle My Monthly Invoice?
You will receive notice by e-mail as soon as your current electronic monthly statement is available via Onlineaccess. You can choose between two different options for settling invoices when activating electronic monthly statements:

  • Electronically via e-bill
  • Using payment slips


What Else Do I Need to Know?

There is no change to the existing payment terms. It is still up to you whether to settle your monthly invoice at one go or in installments.

How Can I Activate Electronic Monthly Statements?
You can activate electronic monthly statements in just a few simple steps via Onlineaccess. The activation process is completed via SMS Code.

Practical: Settle Your Invoices with Just Three Clicks of the Mouse
The e-bill function offered by PostFinance and the Swiss banks enables you to receive and settle your invoices conveniently and securely via your e-banking account.

How Does E-bill Work?
E-bills are displayed in your e-banking account. Here you can view and check the invoice, and settle it at the click of a mouse – around the clock and from any computer with an Internet connection.

The system is secure and easy to use: you have full control at all times over whether, when, and how much you pay. In addition, you can also save and print out your invoices if required.

Requirements
In order to activate the e-bill function, you need an e-banking agreement with a financial institution that offers this function. The following page will present an overview of these financial institutions (DE).

How to Register for E-bill

  • Log into your e-banking account.
  • Select “E-bill” from the menu.
  • Activate the e-bill function (once only) before registering for the Cornèrcard e-bill directly via the list of e-bill issuers.


Your financial institution can provide you with detailed information (in your e-banking account or on its website) about registering for e-bill.

An Ideal Combination
When you activate e-bill, you will also continue to receive your monthly statements from Cornèrcard by post. If you wish to receive your future monthly statements only in electronic form, you will need to apply for this separately via Onlineaccess.
Electronic monthly statements can currently only be activated for Cornèrcard cards issued in Swiss francs.

More and more people are using the Internet to make purchases. In order to make cashless payments in the virtual world more secure, Visa and MasterCard have introduced worldwide security standards for online purchases: Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.

How Do Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode Work?
Shopping with Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode is completely straightforward:

  • Just before completing your purchase, you will be asked to enter a code that will be sent to you by text message (SMS Code).
  • In addition, in the entry window for the SMS Code you will also be shown the personal assurance message (PAM) that you defined when registering for Onlineaccess.


This ensures that only you as the rightful cardholder can carry out a transaction with your Cornèrcard.

Another benefit is that you do not need any additional software, and that you can use any computer with Internet access to make more secure purchases in online shops equipped with Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode.

Internet Explorer Version 6.0 or higher, Safari 4.0 or higher (Safari 4.0 with Mac OS X 10.4.11 not supported), or Firefox 3.0 or higher.

What is the purpose of the PAM?
You enter your personal assurance message when registering for Onlineaccess. This message will be displayed before completion of every payment process with Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. The assurance message is intended to prevent false login information from being used to access your card data. When your PAM is displayed on the Verified by Visa or the MasterCard SecureCode page, you can be sure that your password is really being requested by Cornèr Bank.

How can I register for Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode?
Fill out the application form for Onlineaccess (DE) and send it to Cornèrcard. You will then receive your username via e-mail, and your password under separate cover. Once you have logged into Onlineaccess for the first time, you can use Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode automatically in every affiliated online shop.
